on sunday, i have plans to get drinks with my friend kate, whom i have not seen in a month. i miss her.
catching up with a friend?

me: girl stuff.

me: oh, you know. like tampon commercials. she just tapes a bunch of 'em and we watch them back to back.

me: when i walked out of the building to get lunch, i got stung by a bee. i am sitting at walgreens. they stuck me with an epi-pen.
assistant: oh, honey! i'm coming to pick you up. then we'll get you a sno-cone.

Nightmare.
Last night I had a nightmare about the pie social. I was shopping in Chinatown for fruit to use in the pie fillings. On a dusty shelf I found a stalk that looked like the end of a piece of rhubarb.
“Is this rhubarb?” I asked a Chinese woman, in Cantonese (which I spoke, because this was a dream.)
